1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Bello platform ("Service"), including our website, dashboard, APIs, embeddable widget, and SDK, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Bello is a voice agent platform that enables users to create AI-powered voice assistants and embed them on websites. The Service includes:

  • A dashboard for configuring voice agents (name, personality, voice, language, knowledge base)
  • File upload and website crawling to build agent knowledge bases
  • A real-time voice and chat widget for end-user interactions
  • An embeddable SDK for deploying agents on third-party websites
  • Deployment and embed code generation

3. Account and Authentication

To use certain features, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. Authentication is handled via one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your email. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. User Content and Knowledge Bases

You retain ownership of all content you upload or provide to the Service, including files, documents, and website URLs ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant Bello a limited license to process, store, index, and use that content solely to provide the Service to you.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You have the right to upload and use all User Content
  • Your content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights
  • You will not upload content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing
  • You are responsible for ensuring your crawled websites permit automated access

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or harmful content
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service (except as permitted by law)
  • Misrepresent your AI agent as a human in contexts where users would reasonably expect a human
  • Exceed usage limits or attempt to circumvent rate limits
  • Use the Service to collect personal information from end-users without proper disclosure

6. Usage Limits

The Service includes daily usage limits on voice session duration and call counts per project. These limits may vary based on your plan. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that significantly exceed fair use. Current limits are communicated through the dashboard and API responses.

7. Embedded Widget and SDK

When you embed the Bello widget on your website using our SDK, you are responsible for:

  • Informing your website visitors that an AI-powered voice agent is present
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable privacy laws regarding data collection on your website
  • Keeping your widget API key secure and not sharing it publicly beyond the embed code
  • Complying with all applicable laws in the jurisdictions where your website operates

8. AI-Generated Content

Responses generated by voice agents are powered by AI models and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. Bello does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and configuring your agent's behavior. The Service should not be used as a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, etc.).

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers for cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure), real-time voice communication, authentication, and hosting. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms of these providers. We are not responsible for outages or changes in third-party services.

10. Intellectual Property

The Bello platform, including its design, code, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of Bello. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service. This license does not grant you any rights to our trademarks or proprietary technology beyond what is necessary to use the Service.

11. Data Deletion and Account Termination

You may delete your projects and associated data at any time through the dashboard. Deleting a project removes all uploaded files, crawled content, agent configurations, and callback requests. You may request account deletion by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bello shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
